Growing Minnesota’s favorite apples since 1949
Here at Pepin Heights, we’ve long believed our apples should be grown on fertile soil, with meticulously-maintained trees and nurtured by passionate farmers. They seem to enjoy a river view, too. Since 1949, our bluff-top orchards overlooking the Mississippi River’s Lake Pepin have rewarded us by producing spectacular fruit year after year. Like the apples and the trees they adorn, our orchards are constantly growing – not only are we relentless in our search for the next big variety, but we’re equally dedicated to ensuring that any time an apple leaves our orchard, it’s the best-tasting, safest, cleanest fruit that we would happily feed to our own children.
As one of the first orchards to have the foresight to commercially grow the beloved Honeycrisp and SweeTango, we like to think we have a knack for picking winners. As Minnesota’s largest apple orchard, we don’t take for granted the size of the community we help feed – for us it’s a badge of honor. For us, this is what farming’s all about.
